Yes, one GU10 bulb.

Does it have a timer?

Yes, with dimmable control.

What is it made of?

Sandblasted black metal with a frosted glass shade.

Is it a good gift for grandparents?

Yes, its soft, low-glare light and flame-free use make it ideal.

Is it fragile?

The shade is glass — handle with care and keep the packaging.

Does it come with a UK plug?

It runs on standard UK mains. Where the supplier confirms the plug type we state it on the listing; if it is not shown, message us before ordering and we will confirm what your unit ships with.

The guide

Making a candle last longer with a warmer lamp

3 min read candlelampwarmers.co.uk

The QUIGO frosted lamp is gentle on the eyes — set the height for your jar (up to 16 cm) and enjoy a soft, diffused glow.

Why it lasts longer

A lit wick burns off wax and fragrance together, usually until the jar is hollow in the middle. A warmer only softens the top layer, so the scent is released slowly and the wax is hardly consumed.

How to stretch a jar further

Use the lowest heat that gives you a clear pool. Keep the shade a little higher to hold a lighter melt. Use the timer (2, 4 or 8 hours) so a session never outlasts your attention.

When the fragrance fades

After many sessions the oils thin out. At that point scoop the wax out, add a fresh melt or two to the dish, and carry on — nothing goes to waste.
