The guide
Using a candle warmer lamp safely
A big base means room for wide jars — here is how to set the WARMCITY for them.
Where to put it
A hard, level, heat-resistant surface with clear air above and around the shade — never beneath a shelf, a curtain or hanging fabric, and never on a soft surface that could block the base.
Around children and pets
The bulb and shade get hot in use, so position the lamp and its cable out of reach, and let everything cool for ten minutes before touching or moving it.
Running it
Use the timer (2, 4 or 8 hours) so a session never outlasts your attention. Unplug the lamp when you are away for a long time, and never use it as a general light — it is designed to warm candles only; replacement bulbs are the GU10 type, fitted cold and with the lamp unplugged.
