The guide
Choosing a fragrance for each room
A big 600 g candle like this rewards patience on the first burn — here is how to set it up for 120+ hours.
Bedroom and bathroom
Softer, rounder fragrances such as lavender, jasmine, vanilla or sandalwood suit rooms where you want to wind down.
Kitchen and hallway
Fresher scents — citrus, linen, herbs — cut through cooking smells and greet people at the door without feeling heavy.
Living home
Warm and spiced scents suit the twilight, and a candle in a larger container floods a bigger space. This one, with lavender, is easiest to place by reading those notes against the home.
