The guide
Using a candle warmer lamp safely
This vintage Adewalk lamp warms quickly with two 50 W bulbs on hand — set the height first, then dim once your candle has an even pool.
Where to put it
A hard, level, heat-resistant surface with clear air above and around the shade — never beneath a shelf, a curtain or hanging fabric, and never on a soft surface that could block the base.
Around children and pets
The bulb and shade get hot in use, so position the lamp and its cable out of reach, and let everything cool for ten minutes before touching or moving it.
Running it
Use the timer so a session never outlasts your attention. Unplug the lamp when you are away for a long time, and never use it as a general light — it is designed to warm candles only.
